Hi Bloggers!
This card was made for Christine Emberson's regular 'inspiration challenge' on her brilliant blog. The idea is that followers choose their inspiration for a project from a selection of photo - all the contributions will be shared on her blog today.
My inspiration came from three photos: a beach, bunting and a 'wish you were here' card. I had just got this Michael Powell stamp and this seemed an apt project to use it with...
I started with some coredinations colour core paper, which I embossed with an Embossability Folder (Patchwork) and then sanded to bring out the core. I tore this around the edges and also cut an edge for the bottom of the card. The image was stamped with Memento and coloured with Flexmarkers; the bunting is a digital stamp, also coloured with Flexmarkers. I die cut the image using Labels 24 and also cut a plain yellow shape with some linen textured card from stash.
To finish off I used the centre from the Spellbinders Aster die as a topper and added some silk rope and bakers twine.
