Happy Mothering Sunday - Sunday 30th March 2014

Good Morning Friends

.... and a very Happy Mother's Day to those of you out there who are Mums! I hope you all have a lovely day.

Today's card is the one I have made for Tom's Mum...

It's made from the box Easel Card template, which I have used before (by House of Zandra). The base box was covered with Vintage Rose paper in washed cream downloaded some time ago from Pink Petticoat (I think the design may have  now been retired) and I made the roses using Spellbinders Blossom Five, which I die cut on cream card and then inked with several different shades of pink and 'honey'colour distress inks. The leaves and Flourishes were made using Spellbinders Foliage Two.

To finish I added a sentiment from Pink Petticoat, lace, beads, buttons and a large bow!

Hope you all have a wonderful day,

Love and Special Hugs,
Carole  X

  8. Morning Carole

What a gorgeous card. I am sure it was very well received and will be kept for always.

Love the sweet roses and that lush bow.

Are you like me and struggling to find your way around Liz's boutique now? I used to know where everything was and what was available. So much has disappeared now:-( Can't wait for the new designs to come into play! I love Liz's style.

    Have a good week Carole.

    Love Jules xx

  10. This is beautiful Carole, I adore the shape and those gorgeous flowers. Thanks for leaving the comment about word verification on the A Vintage Journey blog, I have left you a comment there, but for some reason it was on and shouldn't have been, but what was more strange is that I leave comments there regularly (as I did for Hels fab project) and it never asks me!!!. Please let me know if you get it again and apologies you had it in the first place.
    hugs Brenda xx
