Hello Friends,
I hope those of you who are here in the UK have been enjoying some sunshine on the Holiday weekend, haven't we been lucky? Yesterday I mixed some time in the garden with some crafting, mostly working on samples for this week's workshop..goodness my craft room took some tidying last night!
Today I thought I would share an anniversary card I made recently....
This is a 7x7 card and it's very hard to see, but I embossed the base layer on double sided adhesive paper, using Sue Wilson's Hear Lattice folder. Once embossed, I coated it with micro beads. I then stamped the rose background on to lilac card with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with detail white powder. The stamp is Resplendent Roses by Phill Martin, one of the stamps I bought at Ally Pally.
The stamped background was then cut into three and matted and layered on to three panels.
I added a ribbon and ribbon rose and a sentiment, which was computer generated.
That's all for today friends, we are off to a town called Malmesbury, to visit the Abbey Gardens. It's not far and somewhere we like to visit, but haven't been in a while.
Love and Hugs,
Carole X
