Nautical greetings - Tuesday 6th May 2014

Good morning Friends!

Here's hoping you all had a lovely weekend..we had a super time at the Malmesbury garden yesterday and I'll share some photos later this week.Thank you for your comments on yesterday's card; it was a commission and not the kind of card I usually like to make- and it took ages as well...I think I started it at about 10am and finished it mid-afternoon! I really like the effect and feel of the microbeads, but they don't show up in photos!

Full details of how I made the card are over on the DT blog, but the stamps I used are from Sam's new nautical range of singles stamp sets. They are fun stamps to work with and deeply etched rubber, so stamp beautifully.

    Great nautical themed card, really like how you've coloured the lighthouse & the netting background stamp & rope are great touches too.

    This is a lovely card for a man Carole - I love the image, but am a fan of Sam's anyway. Your layout is great and I love the rope and the nautical knot!! Congratulations on your DT post, I hope you enjoy yourself.
