Good morning Friends!
Here's hoping you all had a lovely weekend..we had a super time at the Malmesbury garden yesterday and I'll share some photos later this week.Thank you for your comments on yesterday's card; it was a commission and not the kind of card I usually like to make- and it took ages as well...I think I started it at about 10am and finished it mid-afternoon! I really like the effect and feel of the microbeads, but they don't show up in photos!
I would like to welcome my latest follower Linda Walmsley, many thanks Linda for following my blog. Linda is already a DT member for Sam Poole, so I am very happy to have joined the team...and speaking of which...
Today is my first post, all being well my first post should be up on the blog today and I would be so grateful if you could spare a moment to pop over and leave a quick comment. Just click here to link to Sam's blog and then hit the design team button on the top menu bar. Many thanks indeed!
This is the card I have posted today:
Full details of how I made the card are over on the DT blog, but the stamps I used are from Sam's new nautical range of singles stamp sets. They are fun stamps to work with and deeply etched rubber, so stamp beautifully.
Thank you so much for stopping by and if you leave a comment an extra big thank you!
Love and Hugs,
Carole X

Great nautical themed card, really like how you've coloured the lighthouse & the netting background stamp & rope are great touches too.
ReplyDeleteJust popping over to Sam's blog to check it out on there too, well done on your first post as DT member! :-)
