Hell Friends,
Sorry I've been awol again...stupidly decided to clear out the craft room as I couldn't move here and 4 days later I've finally finished! I did get around all your blogs I think, but sorry if I missed any!
I've been finding it very hard to get into Christmas card making, in fact at the moment I seem to be happier creating mixed media and altered art and doing some Tilda sewing for Christmas than cards!
Today I'm sharing one of the cards I made for Sam Poole's DT before she went on maternity leave.. and talking of Sam, she had a gorgeous baby boy, Max, last week so many congratulations! She has been posting lots of lovely pics on Facebook and her daughter Leah seems to be thrilled with her little brother.
So a quick post today..I think between now and the end of the month I will still be posting less frequently as the more time I spend here, the less I have to craft - and with work being busy as well, you just have to 'give' sometimes don't you?
Be back soon,
Love and Hugs,
Carole X
Just outstanding Carole!! I adore that darling little deer standing so proud on the top of the world in your Christmas box!! : )
ReplyDeleteI totally understand you visiting less in order to get crafting done! : ) I always love hearing from you but never feel pressured to visit my friend!
Have a wonderful day!
Patti
Aw thanks my friend! I'll still be visiting, maybe just not up to speed with posting, X
DeleteHi Carole this is a gorgeous creation I do like pop-up boxes and Dasher looks really cute in this one. Talking of cute isn't Sam's new baby gorgeous and he looks so content in the photos. Enjoy the rest of the week. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteHe does! Lol I didn't post this one on a DT post or send it to Create and Craft because you'd already made a gorgeous similar one, so I thought now was enough time lapse to post it :) X
DeleteThat is great news about Sam!
ReplyDeleteI love your card, the style is so effective and I love that it folds flat too. I really don't blame you for taking time (I have not even thought about starting Christmas cards!), I really need to try and follow your lead and make a start too! I totally love blogging but even though I no longer work there never seem to be enough hours in a day!! I honestly do not know how you manage to fit so much in... Take care my friend. Hugs, Anne xx
Hi Carole, thanks for the visit. Love your pop-up Christmas card. I have got started with my Christmas cards but other things keep needing to be made and it's really difficult to concentrate on them.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely crafty week, Angela x 40
Love the card Carole. I know what you mean sometimes something just has to give... Thanks for the visit. We are having a lovely holiday. I am waiting for hubby to finish getting ready so we can go to dinner 😀

Gorgeous Carole!x
ReplyDeleteHi Carople,
ReplyDeleteoooooooooooooooooooooo I am in love with Dasher, he is so cute.
superb box, and I love the fab colour you have chosen too, and all your fab snowflakes as well.
I have not tried to make one of these yet.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Wow Carole your card is amazing and Dasher is soooo cute.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean by some things have to give and my stamping is what has been 'giving' for me which is why I haven't posted for a couple of weeks. Work is bedlam at the moment and doesn't seem like it is going to change in a hurry which is just sapping my mojo but maybe today or tomorrow you might see a card from me. Have a great weekend xx
A gorgeous creation! The reindeer is so cute and looks beautiful amongst those fabulous sparkly snowflakes.
