Polar Tilda - Wednesday 3rd December 2014

Good Morning Friends,

Thank you for your comments on my Nicecrane DT post, they were lovely images to work with...especially the Santa. I usually stay clear of Santa images as sometimes they just don't seem right, even dare I say scary? But that one was so traditional and jolly, beautifully drawn.

A quick post - and I am sorry for leaving quick comments on your blogs, there are still not enough hours in the day and I have lots to show you on here and little time to blog it! Today I am back with a Tilda make, but this pattern from Tone Finnanger's Winter Wonderland book is a polar bear.

Some of you may remember that last Christmas I posted small and medium sized polar beard I'd made from the same pattern -- this time I went for the 'Big Daddy' and he was easiest of all...I have also made some more baby bears, but I'll share them another time as they still haven't been 'dressed' with ribbons. Suffice to say I am 'polar-beared-out' at the moment:)

Here's big bear...the fabric is Tilda fabric and very easy to sew, very soft too!

Here he is with the rest of the family from last year!

That's all for today, have a good one all!

Love and Hugs,
Carole X

  8. Hi Carole, these are gorgeous, I used to make teddy bears but haven't done anything for a very long time (must have been in another life Lol!)
You said the fabric is Tilda but is the pattern too? The bears definitely have that Tilda look.
Hope everything is good with you, happy crafting, Angela x
