Good Morning Blog Friends,
Sorry I've been missing a few days...this coming week I have a day of encouraging people to craft at the library, our last workshop before Christmas and a craft fair on Saturday, so you can imagine that I have been busy busy busy...I have made some more stock for the fair, still not prepared for our workshop and just got all the card kits together for Wednesday...I am going to be helping new crafters to make the paper piece dove card, that I posted on here a few weeks ago, but as we only have a small amount of time with all the people who come through, I made the kits, including doing all the stamping..phew...I made 24 kits!
So today, a little more spooky-ness using a Dreamweaver stencil...
I've just got this stencil and have been practicing with in in many different ways, so be prepared to see more of it! This was the first card I made: I just wanted to created an orange 'glow' behind the stencil using distress inks and then I stamped and heat embossed the bats. The ribbon is from Fantastic Ribbons (watch out for my DT project coming soon!) and the Jack O'Lantern button is from stash.
Before I go, I wanted to show you what one of our hens, Bella got up to at the weekend. She is a terror for climbing and along the side of our garden, we have a 40ft grapevine...not a good harvest year but the hens go nuts for them. They see the starlings getting the ones on top, so Bella thought she'd join them!
The fence is 6ft high...little monkey!
Hope you all have a great week with lots of crafting...have made cards and will post when I can!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment, I really do appreciate them.

Hi Carole. You are such a busy lady! This card is simple yet so effective. I really like it. Love from Christine x
ReplyDeleteI love your card Carole, the bats look really scary and love those trees in the background and what a great way to use that stencil, have not had mine out for many a month. Bella is a real tinker isn't she, she looks very happy up there too. Thank you for showing her, I have missed seeing the chickens! Don't do too much, or you will meet yourself coming back. I hope you will let us know when your DT project is up. Crafty hugs, Anne x
ReplyDeleteHi Carole - me back again after my week off blogging. Have just checked your work and you have made some lovely cards. I like the new baby one because the image is really really sweet. The funny thing is that on my week off I have had 5 commissions. Just like buses eh - all come at once.
ReplyDeleteMust admit Bella made me smile - is she adventurous or what - bet she had a nosey over the fence while she was up there. They are soooo funny and I'm glad you shared this with us.
Hugs to you Sue Pxxx
PS - forgot to say that I love the pumpkin button with those spooky trees and owls.
