Pink Boutique - Wednesday 26th June

Good Morning Crafty Blog Friends!

Well I hope the sun is shining where you are, as it is here! Today's card was made for my friend Lynda and once again I turned to the Fabulous Fashion CD and another boutique card. As this one was being posted by myself (rather than as a commission) and was to be 'cushioned' by a present, I made this one my most elaborate yet! Lynda is my best friend from school days, but now we lived a long way apart: whilst I am down here in the West, Lynda is up in beautiful Cumbria and with work commitments, schedules and pets(!) we can go quite a while and not see each other. Lynda is a horticulturalist and I usually send a card with a gardening theme, but I thought I'd be a bit more girly this year and incorporate the floral element with a shop.

Flowers made using Martha Stewart paper based moulding clay
To the basic shop template, I added glossy accents (in the form of Modge Podge) to the large flowers framing the window, some paper flowers from stash and I made a paper clay mix to match the pinks and a large and small flower mould to make the additonal flowers.

I then added a little Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles and a dazzler, which was plain translucent and coloured with a promarker.

That's all for this morning, my first day off for this week so lots of crafty projects to try and get through..it I get the chance I will be back later with a quick WOYWW desk post!

Have a good day all!

Love,
Carole X

fabulous card. I too seem to be drawn to purchasing this CD, as there are some fab cards been made with it around blog land. Love the colour pink used so bright and cheerful, and those flowers made with paper clay are superb.

  6. So pretty Carole! She will love this card. Those flowers are gorgeous! I haven't any moulds yet, so want some but trying to limit crafty spending at this moment. (Won't last very long though). Sorry have been absent recently, trying to get ahead with my HC DT work, lots of gorgeous products to play/work with, not enough hours in the day! Also got a 2 week break booked in July, so lots of work to do before then!xx
