Yesterday, one of the days I don't go to work, so can stay home and craft was an ideal crafting day...way to wet and windy to leave the house!
I've been working on some cards using new stamps and will be sharing them from tomorrow, but today's card is a quick card made for a thirteen year old boy. Teens can be really hard to make cards for, but Kenny K has some super stamps that always seem to hit the right note...
This is a Kenny-K digital stamp, which I coloured with Promarkers...the stamp is 'anime rocker' so I wanted to colour it quite boldly, in manga fashion.
I die- cut the stamped image, using the out of the box method to make it look like the image is bursting out of the background. I used a Grand Scalloped Rectangles Spellbinder and shaded the edges with faded denim distress ink. I also cut another background from the same die in silver mirror card. I covered a card blank with some paper from stash, added a ribbon and typed greeting using labels 24, which is also shadowed with silver mirror card. I just added a few stars to finish off.
Thanks for dropping by, I'll be back tomorrow with my much favoured 'girly cards' !
