A quick post today as I want to squeeze in a lot of crafting on my day off from the office!
Today is the day when courtesy of Julia over at Stamping Ground, we are invited to share the contents of our desks - click the link for all the deers!
This was my desk first thing this morning...
I had already been using my melt pot to create some little pieces for today's projects and for my 'melt pot makes' box for future use...and that's about it, not very exciting I'm afraid, but I have already created a DT project with the blue seahorse and that will be posted next Tuesday...now I'm off to make a project for this weeks 'Sunday Stampers' ...thanks for stopping by!
Love and Hugs,
Carole X
Hi Carole, I am looking with much envy at the beautiful seahorses you created! Love, love them, I have plenty of stamps but have not seen a mould before. Hels will be on C&C for 4 days next week doing the melt pot and I shall be glued to it to see if I now 'need' a melt pot........instead of my little pie dishes. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #33

Hi Carole - my room is progressing and I now aim to have a desk looking just like yours above!!! I have moved my melt pot from the cupboard (that I could never get into) and have put it on one of the shelves above my desk - ready for action. This is where I have put my GC, heat guns, wax paper, dies, guillotine etc. Hopefully now that they are in front of me I will be using them more. I love the look of the seahorses (they are a passion of mine) and the roses. Can't wait to see your project next Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you Sue Pxxx
PS Hope the girls are OK!
Hi Carole,
ReplyDeleteit seems so long since I have commented. Your desk is amazing, and I too love the seahorses. Fab colours may I add.
Your desk always looks so well used as I imagine it is.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
LOVE the seahorse mold..where did you get it and what do you use for the mold? Thanks for visiting my desk today, waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥
ReplyDeleteHi Sandee, it's a mould for clay makes..I have quite a few collected in craft stores over the years, XX
DeleteThe flowers are just lovely, and the seahorse is adorable... I've never tried a meltpot, but I'm starting to get tempted by what I see all of you doing with them! I've missed a few weeks, but it's great to be back (and this time with my mother in tow!)... Happy WOYWW!
