Elizabeth Bennet - Monday 8th April

Good Morning Friends!

I  love this Indigo Blu stamp 'Elizabeth Bennet'! This is a recent purchase from my friend Amy's shop and is my first 'play' with it!

I started with a 6x6 dark brown card blank and stamped the image twice on card which has a very pale 'peachy' tint, using archival ink, which I then heat embossed.

I coloured the face, flowers, butterfly, bird and background on both stamped images with promarkers and then cut out the flowers and butterfly from my second image and layered them on the base image to create a little depth. I also added some distress stickles in clear rick candy to the background  to add a little shimmer, but it doesn't show in the photo.

To finish I added a  flourish from Spellbinders Venetian Motifs, three Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms and crushed silk pink ribbon.

I've more ideas for this stamp, including gilding the background...so watch this space!

Well it's back to work this morning, but only for a few days..I'm going to miss my craft room having spent so much time here last week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love,
Carole X
