House Mouse Autumn Leaves - Saturday 29th September

Good Morning Friends!

I hope you have all got lovely weekends in store and the weather holds out for you! Tom and I are hoping it stays dry because we are going on a bat walk tonight with the RSPB at Westonbirt Arboretum...I will let you know how it all goes tomorrow!

Today's card is my DT card for the new Emergency Crafter's Challenge, which has the theme of autumn leaves. I've chosen this cute House Mouse stamp for my design, which I am also going to enter into the current House Mouse Monday Challenge which has the theme of autumn and/or Harvest.

I started off by inking through a 'That Special Touch'  leaf mask with a combination of  Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge distress inks (I love this combo!). I stamped the image and coloured it with Promarkers before cutting out and mounting it on a die cut circle, which had been coloured with the above inks, plus Victorian Velvet.

To finish off I die cut some leaves in felt from the Spellbinders Fall Foliage set, added some ribbon and a leaf brad from my stash.

Why  not pop over to Emergency Crafters and join in with our challenge...there's a super craft kit to be won!

I wish to enter this card in the House Mouse Challenge reference HMFMC129

Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting all :)

  3. Ahhh!!! how sweet is that???
Love the wee felt leaves as well.
Oh! Wow! a Bat Walk I love to watch bats they are such clever little things......enjoy

Do all those things with these dies. also use a metal shim.
I think I just compare then with Spellbinder Dies which are so easy to use
    Have a Great Day

  6. Wow Carole I have missed such a lot , where should I start, your dream weaver Christmas tree is GORGEOUS and how fabulous are the ladies crafting in your craft club , what beautiful cards they are all making . Read with some jealousy about your trip to Ally Pally , I am sat in the lounge at Euston waiting for my train back north , have spent a couple of days here in London with Tim at the national archives , he is a genealogist , no fun for me though but I may just take him to ally pally next time it's on, that's only fair eh . Your door hangings are beautiful and I adore your Halloween card it's just fab . his card is lovely too I am a House Mouse addict , I only made house mouse cards before I joined bogland.sorry I have not been around much hope to be back blogging more soon , hugs Elaine
