Olympic Heroes - Thursday 13th

Good Morning Blog Friends!

No card today, but I wanted to share with you the wonderful day Tom and I had yesterday, when we drove over to Bath to welcome home our Olympians and Paralympians who train at Bath University and make up, not only Team GB, but also Team Bath. Just like they had done in London a few days ago, they were all back for a parade via open top bus through the city and a Civic reception.

I managed to exchange a few words with paralympians Steph Millward (who was truly weighed down by her medals!) and Ben Rushgrove. It was quite humbling to be able to congratulate them in person, shake their hands and be able to hold their medals, which are really heavy. What a great day!

Hope you like the photos!

Here I am, waiting for the bus!
