Card for Alana - Saturday 8th September

Hello Blog Friends!

A quick post today, we are off to Bath this morning and have decided to take the bus as we are meeting friends for lunch and Tom can have a glass of wine! It's actually a very nice 'Country bus' ride that takes about 45 minutes, so it's nice for a change!

Today's card is the one I have sent to Alana, the little girl in the US who is not well at the moment and we were told about via linda's blog. We were asked if we would like to send cards to help cheer her up and I have already seen some of your lovely creations.

The card I have sent features this cute Sarah Kay image, which I used so much earlier this year, I had put away! It was the stamp we used when we did our Promarker class, so I coloured her so much in so many ways!

I just used a yellow check paper for the background and once coloured die cur the image using Romantic Rectangles. I then cut a Heart Circle die and positioned it at the side after shading it with Scattered Straw distress ink. I finished off with die cut flowers and bakers twine.

Thanks for stopping by! I will be 'missing' tomorrow - I am going on a workshop day with my friend Amy, to one of the big paper craft companies...but it's a two hour drive and we have to be there by 10am and it doesn't finish until 5pm! Sounds intense for a hot Sunday but should be fun and I'll tell you all about it on Monday!
